Welcome to “Barrier-Free by Design”, an introduction to digital accessibility.

I’m glad you’re here!

This module answers four questions: what barrier-free design actually is, why it matters for your business, who it affects, and where you are on the journey.

Before you start, one thing: almost every website has barriers — including sites built by professionals. You are not behind, and nothing here is going to make you feel bad for what you didn’t know yet.

How to Use It

Watch in order — each lesson builds on the last. Keep your workbook open in a separate tab or print it out and keep it in front of you on your work area. Every lesson ends with a five-minute action step, and those entries become the record of where you started.

No technical skill needed. You don’t have to fix anything yet. You just need to start noticing.
